Bikaner is far less visited that the likes of Jodhpur, Jaipur and Jaisalmer as at first glance it appears to pale in comparison. However, what Bikaner does offer is the opportunity to explore an ancient, vibrant and dusty city without the throngs of people found in other parts of Rajasthan. It’s home to the impressive Junagarh Fort; the world famous Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok, otherwise known as ‘The Rat Temple'; as well the government run camel-breeding farm. It also oozes desert charm and is peppered with an array of beautiful havelis. Whatever your reasons, Bikaner will certainly impress.
