Ramathra lies very much in rural Rajasthan, near the village of Sapotra, between Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur and Ranthambhore National Park. It’s a world away from the frantic buzz of Delhi, yet it combines brilliantly with the ‘Golden Triangle’.  It’s just four hours from Jaipur.  The area has become well known for Ramthra Fort, an impressive and historic fort that has been tastefully converted into a beautiful, intimate and impossibly romantic heritage hotel, with breath-taking views of the surrounding area. This is a vast landscape filled with misty mountains, traditional villages, and Kalisil Lake. It’s a haven for birds, one of Ramathra’s biggest attractions. We think it’s a perfect stop for those wanting a rural break, not too far from ‘The Golden Triangle’.
