Day 1
Fly from the UK to Delhi
Day 2
This morning you will arrive into Delhi where you will be met by your private car and driver. You will be driven to your beautiful accommodation where you can spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
Day 3
Enjoy our Old and New Delhi City Tour today. Note the complete contrast in atmosphere and architecture between the two areas of the city. This evening you might like to enjoy a guided night walk through Chandi Chowk, one of India's oldest markets.
Day 4
An early start today for your train journey to Agra: home of the Taj Mahal. Take a tour of Agra's magnificent sights, including I'timād-ud-Daulah and the spectacular Red Fort.
Day 5
An early start to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise when the light is at its best. Then travel to the Pink City of Jaipur. The journey takes approximately 5 hours. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 6
Today enjoy a visit to impressive Amber Fort and a tour of the city including the palace, the royal observatory Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. In the afternoon you may like to take a guide walk of the bazaars when talented artisans ply their craft.
Day 7
Your driver will take you to Barli where you will be staying in the lovingly restored fort. This should take approximately 3-4 hours. You'll travel through numerous rural towns and villages en route, passing by farm land, as you enter the depths of rural Rajasthan. This afternoon is free to relax or explore the local area.
Day 8
Enjoy a day at your leisure. Later, enjoy a village safari by bullock cart, luxuriously lined with Rajasthani cushions. The locals are incredibly welcoming and are keen to show you their way of life.
Day 9
From Barli you will continue west to Jodhpur, a journey of around 4-5 hours. Jodhpur, known as 'The Blue City,' is home to the formidable Mehrangarh Fort, arguably Rajasthan's most spectacular fort.
Day 10
Enjoy a private tour of the magnificent fort and Jaswant Thada cenotaph this morning. Spend the afternoon with the Bishnoi Tribe who are lauded for their dedication to conservation and renowned for their unique ceremonies.
Day 11
Continue south to rural Narlai today, a 150km drive of around 3 to 4 hours. You will stay in the gorgeous 17th century fort of Rawla Narlai.
Day 12
Today choose between a walking tour of the local village or take a safari to seek the elusive leopard. The big cats roam freely here and are undisturbed by the local community.
Day 13
Continue south to Udaipur. En route you might like to visit the spectacular marble temple at Ranakpur and impressive Kumbhalgarh Fort turning your journey into a full day of adventure.
Day 14
This morning, enjoy a cycling tour through the countryside surrounding Udaipur, followed by a tour of the town and its fascinating City Palace. Udaipur is one of India’s most romantic destinations and a great place for you to end your trip.
Day 15
Spend the morning soaking up this stunning city. In the afternoon your private driver will transfer you to the airport in order to catch the flight to Delhi. You will spend your last night in India at a hotel close to Delhi Airport.
Day 16
This morning transfer to the airport for your flight home.
