Day 2
This morning you will arrive into Delhi where you will be met by our team. You will be driven to your hotel by your driver who will stay with you during your trip. Spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
Day 3
Spend the day exploring the contrasting areas of Old and New Delhi on our private city tour. Including the ancient monuments of Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar and the bustling bazaars and narrow streets of Chandi Chowk, this is a fascinating introduction to the sights and sounds of the capital.
Day 4
This morning you will take the train to Agra, gliding through rural villages and farmland. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of Agra which includes the Red Fort and tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. Watch the sun set behind the Taj Mahal from the Mehtab Bagh gardens.
Day 5
An early start today: sunrise is an ideal time to visit the Taj Mahal, the legendary monument to love with fewer tourists and softer light than later in the day. Head to Bharatpur via the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, take the train to Sawai Madhophur - the closest station to Ranthambore National Park. On arrival at the station you will be met and driven to your accommodation.
Day 6
Ranthambore National Park offers the best chance of seeing a tiger in Rajasthan. Track the elusive cat on morning and afternoon jeep drives through rugged terrain. Keep an eye out for the park’s other residents, including grey langur, wild boar, Indian leopard, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, nilgai and striped hyena.
Day 7
Enjoy your final game drive in the park this morning before a leisurely breakfast back at your hotel. Then head to the Pink City of Jaipur which will take around four hours. Later, enjoy our Jaipur Bazaar Walking Tour with the chance to meet local artisans and sample the ‘real’ food of the city with your private guide.
Day 8
Jaipur is home to fine havelis, forts and palaces. Start your day with a guided visit to the magnificent Amber Fort. Back in the city take a private tour of the sights including the Palace and Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory.
Day 9
This morning enjoy a morning walk through a Meena tribal village. Afterwards drive to Delhi with your driver, which should take around 5 hours. Spend the remainder of your evening at leisure.
Day 10
You will be transferred to International airport in Delhi for your flight home.
