Shergarh is a delightful camp with just six tents that are set within a beautiful woodland. Run by experienced naturalist Jehan, and his English wife Katie, Shergarh is designed for those wanting a more holistic wildlife experience in Kanha rather than just a tiger-centric one. They not only offer jeep safaris with experienced naturalists but also bikes and maps along with leading walks into the park’s buffer zone. For those who are interested the staff are also happy to arrange trips to the local school. Each of the six-tented rooms has a private veranda, a permanent shower and a small sitting area. They are tastefully furnished and comfortable but not extravagant.
