The owners of Chanoud Garh have done a wonderful job of setting up a range of activities, perfect for a one or two night stay. Possible excursions include a guided village walk that explores local houses, the village market and the school; a jeep safari into the countryside, to see men herding their sheep and women preparing meals at home; a visit to the local salt lake, which is spectacular, as well as cookery lessons with the in-house chef. Additional activities, such as spending the day with the school, or helping them paint the school walls are also possible on request.
