Once owned by Tata Tea, Victory Dawn is a 75-year-old home that is now a six-room bed and breakfast. It is full of charm, with stripped wooden floors, internal verandas and large living rooms filled with old furniture that wouldn’t look out of place in an old English home. It’s one of the simplest properties that we recommend in Cochin, so don’t expect any frills; the rooms are spacious, clean and have en-suite bathrooms but nothing more than that. We like Victory Dawn because its good value, well located and has local character.
Please note Victory Dawn, like many properties in Kerala, doesn’t have a license to serve alcohol. Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to be consumed only in the rooms.
