This cookery lesson is the brainchild of Anil Sharma and his wife who have been running a spice shop for many generations. Belonging to a reputed Brahmin family, they teach authentic Rajasthani dishes that are easy to make as well as delicious. Students are taught to prepare the vegetarian dishes, including chopping and spice grinding. It’s very much a hands on experience with all of the cooking done under expert supervision. Located a convenient five minute walk from the Clock Tower Bazaar, this cookery lesson is an ideal option for those who want to learn the finer points of Rajasthani cuisine. As part of the experience students enjoy a sit down meal and are also given a booklet of hand written recipes for use at home. The classes start at either 9am or 5pm and last three to four hours.
