Ajit Bawan was built in 1927 and was one of the first heritage hotels to operate in India. It sits within 8 acres of beautiful grounds dotted with frangipani trees and lanterns; even with 68 rooms it doesn’t feel congested or busy. Rooms and cottages vary in size; choose from modern Executive Rooms, Luxury Tents or Luxury Rooms that come in the style of local cottages. There are also larger Luxury Suites as well. The property arguably feels a bit themed with over-the-top décor, which doesn’t suit all tastes. Despite this we really recommend it due to the range of restaurants, the great swimming pool, comfortable rooms and value for money. We feel it’s fantastic option for families.
