Visit the river Ganges at sunrise when pilgrims and devotees flock to the river to worship the rising sun, starting  their day with a dip in the holy river.  A boat trip along the Ganges is a quintessentiali experience in Varanasi and is the best way to see the ghats. In the early morning the light is nothing less than spectacular and should not be missed.
