Abode is a beautiful and stylish boutique hotel with just 20 elegant rooms. Designed by architect and interior designer, Sian Pascale, it has a boho-chic appearance, inspired by the city’s history and transitional vibe. You’ll find custom designed furniture such as bedside tables made from chaat stands and a library inspired by Bombay’s roadside bookstores. There are several rooms to choose from including Basic, Simple, Luxury and Superior Luxury. We suggest going for the Luxury or Superior Luxury as these are larger with plenty of light. Some of the Superior Luxury rooms even have a free-standing bath. The Abode Lobby and Library are open all day to both in house and outdoor guests. It’s buzzing with life and serves a sumptuous breakfast. You’ll also find a shop and a small spa room. We feel this hotel offers a great location in Colaba, arguably the heart of Mumbai. It also offers good value and comfortable accommodation. The only downside is there is some road noise, but this is to be expected in such a noisy and busy city.
