Located in central Jaipur and dating back to 1892, Alsisar Haveli is a simple and traditional heritage haveli with oodles of character. Converted into a hotel in 1994, Alsisar Haveli retains much of its grandeur with the most exquisite inlaid doors, mirror tiles and antique furniture. The 45 rooms, many of which lead off the numerous courtyards, are full of charm; think four-poster beds, antique rugs and perfectly restored fresco paintings. Despite the opulent appearance they are quite simple so don’t expect perfect bathrooms or thick mattresses. One of the major benefits however is the cool crisp pool, ideal in the hot Jaipur weather, and something few other heritage properties of this price have. We feel this is a well located and good value option in Jaipur.
