Located in Jaipur’s upmarket residential area of Bani Park, Dera Rawatsar is a light and airy heritage property with a history that spans 80 years. Its yellowish exterior compliments the bright bougainvillea and lush tropical gardens that surround the building. There’s an outside pool perfect for a relaxing afternoon and a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner inside and outside during cooler weather. The 19 rooms certainly have a heritage feel with thick carved wooden beds, old photographs and antique furniture; we found them much lighter and brighter than in most other heritage properties in the city. Overall we feel Dera Rawatsar offers lots of character, a good location and fantastic value for money.
